Community health workers are doing door-to-door COVID-19 screenings in Parkwood a suburb of Cape Town on the Cape Flats on Thursday April 16 2020. The Western Cape government is ramping up mass screening and testing to stop the spread in vulnerable communities such as low-income areas where many are living in multi-family households in crowded spaces. The aim is early detection so that those who are testing positive can be removed to quarantine elsewhere.
