Location: Sebokeng, South Africa
The members of the United Reformed Church in Sebokeng are not just faithful Christians; they are also dedicated Bafana Bafana supporters. Church services are bright with the colours of the national team as worshippers gather in celebration and to pray for the FIFA World Cup.
It is not unusual to see a vuvuzela in the hand of one of these saints, or a South African flag hanging in one of their homes. The Church members are full of the spirit of unity that the soccer tournament has brought to South Africa and have been praying fervently for their team to be successful.
As the competition kicks off, Bafana Bafana can rest assured that their brothers and sisters in the United Reformed Church are praying that God would be on their side.
