Capetonians have turned to rock art for mindfulness and entertainment for themselves. While much of the art is created and left in nature without a signature we met some of the artists Sipho Njengezi balances rocks near the Dalebrook Tidal pool . Njengezi was in the news last month when he was credited with having made many of the stone towers that grew into a beautiful rock garden near the edge of the ocean. At another sea-side location in Kommetjie on the Cape Peninsula Lara Thomson says she enjoys the walks near the Slangkop Lighthouse where she goes for inspiration and sometimes also leaves some art behind. Thomson loves to spread joy by painting art on rocks and then hiding them outside for people to find. Full Text Available. Feature by Eva-Lotta Janssen.
