The Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Mausoleum is located in front of the Accra city centre close to the coast and has at its centre the mausoleum to Ghana’s first President and his wife, the first lady, Fathia Nkrumah.
The Park also includes the pieces of the broken original statue of Kwame Nkrumah that was vandalised during the military and police coup d’etat on 24th February 1966.
The Park sees thousands of visitors every year both locals and internationals from within Africa and from around the World.
