RI-KWAMBA, SOUTHERN, SUDAN – 30 NOVEMBER 2008 – The Lord’s Resistance Army’s (LRA) Major General Joseph Kony holds his daughter, Lacot, and his son, Opiyo, at peace negotiations between the LRA and Ugandan religious and cultural leaders in Ri-Kwamba, Southern Sudan 30 November, 2008. Kony stalled the peace agreement demanding that the International Criminal Court drop arrest warrants for he and his associates for crimes against humanity. The LRA rebellion has dislocated some two million people in the twenty-years prior to these talks.
