A group of Karamajong men with a young boy, all from the Jie tribal group, stand in the market place of their home village, Kadoca. The traditional dress of Karamajong men is seen on the man in the centre of the photograph; blanket, beaded necklace, ear rings, cap, ornamented ivory finger rings, and bracelets. He also carries a typical Karamajong walking stick (used for cattle herding) and stool (used for sitting on and as a pillow). A western-style watch also compliments his traditional dress.
