Description: A woman holds anti retroviral treatment pills. Cocomela, like other southern villages of Mozambique, has one of the highest HIV/AIDS rates in the country. Cocomela is a village in the disctrict of Namaacha, southern Mozambique, on the border with South Africa and Swaziland. The living conditions are harsh as the land can be very dry in some of the areas. Most people live in huts with no electricity or water, having to walk for miles to collect water from rivers or wells.

But how come he never became world champ in either of the two divisions in which he paraded? Let's consider the facts ... In 1950, after 23 amateur fights he made his debut into the paid ranks and outpointed Abraham "Battling Beans" Maselesele over eight rounds. Later in the year he was given a shellacking by the then featherweight champ "Kid Alpheus, after that he laid low for a little over two years. His record a mere two fights: won one, lost one.
