Post-Election Upheaval in Kenya – January 2008 

An ODM supporter helps destroy a car in the car park of the telecommunications building.  The protesting was at the request of the Opposition leader, Raila Odinga, over the now much-debated disputed election result held on 27th December. The local telecommunications building was raided, looted, and burned during the clashes.

Langa langa full pipe burst 

At least 70 people were killed in a terrible petrol pipeline explosion and subsequent fire in the Lunga-Lunga township area in the industrial part of Nairobi, Kenya. According to firefighters, people had apparently been siphoning off petrol from a burst main in the general market area when a nearby fire sparked an explosion and subsequent fire.

26th January 2014 

A Cartouche rocket fired by SPLA forces from the back of a military 4×4 vehicle at rebel positions at Mathiang near Bor. Hostilities continue on the frontline of fighting between rebels and Government SPLA forces in Mathiang where the Government has re-inforced its position 15km North of Bor.
