The centre provides HIV/Aids testing, health and counselling services to school children. There are also facilities at the centre for scholars to play games, dance, and socialise with each other in a 'safe' environment. Swaziland experiences one of the highest HIV infection rates in Southern Africa, many schoolgirls are vulnerable as a result of both poverty, traditional practices such as polygamy.
